Personal tax allowances for those earning over £100,000 pa abolished April 2010.

50% top rate tax on earnings over £150,000 pa from April 2010.

Tax free limit on ISA's up from £7,200 to £10,200 for those over 50 years old this year and the rest next year.

Note. 1/2p (.05p) increase in National Insurance contributions from 2011.

Income tax allowances.

Personal for those aged under 65, 2009/10 = £6,475 2008/09 = £ 6,035 an increase of £440.00
