Thank you very much to those who responded to the recent consultation entitled "Strengthening National Commissioning" which closed on 19 February 2010. This document contains a summary of responses received. The consultation sought views from the NHS, industry and other stakeholders on the Government's proposals for an incremental development of some of the arrangements proposed in the Carter Review, in particular reshaping the membership and role of the National Commissioning Group (NCG).
