The Department for Work & Pensions has launched a consultation (click here) with a deadline of 29th January 2010 asking for thoughts on how to progress with "Pathways to Work" as it has been found to be "less effective than thought" and costly, about £1bn.

This is covered also on communitycare.co.uk.

The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) is also review (see this Guardian article)
