The Community Development and Health Network in partnership with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, supported by the Public Health Agency are pleased to announce a call for applications for a Southern Area Small Grants Funding Programme for the period 2010/2011 (Sept 2010 - March 2011).
Themes for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing are:
- Child centered active learning for 0-5 years and their parents/guardians.
- Alleviating social isolation and loneliness for older people.
- Supporting inclusion through collective action.
Applications are invited from voluntary and community organisations within the southern area which require funding to facilitate the delivery of mental health initiatives in their area. On this occasion applications are invited for funding to support the delivery of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Minimum award £1,500, Maximum award £3,000.
An information session will be held on Monday 10th May 2010, 11am - 12noon at Orchard Leisure Centre, 37-39 Folly Lane, Armagh for potential applicants focusing on both positive mental health and wellbeing ideas and the application process.

Funding will only be awarded for work carried out within the Southern Area. This programme is funded by the Public Health Agency.
