We have today published our equality and human rights scheme for the next three years.
The scheme will not only support our work to ensure that the registering and monitoring of care services promotes better outcomes for all , but will also support our staff.
Under the key priorities and actions we undertake to:
- Ensure a diverse range of people are involved in our work
- Improve the information and intellience we have across the health and adult social care sector in relatin to equality and rights
- Ensure our approach to registration and compliance promotes better outcomes for all
- Promote a culture where staff are valued, involved and supported
- Improve the diversity of our workforce at middle and senior management level
- Ensure all staff are cmpetent and confident in applying equality and human rights in their work
