So who do the government put up to answer on behalf of the government. Lord McKenzie of Luton the Parliamentary under Secretary in the Lords. Who clearly has decided to ignore all the regular submissions given to the government on how this is affecting disabled people.
If the government were serious about disabled issues than surely one of the following ministers would have been more appriopriate
The Right Honourable Yvette Cooper MP Secretary of State for Work and Pension
The Right Honourable Jim Knight MP Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform
Angela Eagle MP Minister of State for Pensions and the Ageing Society who's responsibilities include The Pension, Disability and Carers Service.
Or even, Jonathan Shaw MP Minister for Disabled People.
Oh yes but people vote for them and there is an election due!

One Show presenter Christine Bleakley has reportedly taken a pay cut as the corporation slashes salaries for stars.
The 29-year-old has agreed to a two-year deal to present the magazine programme alongside Adrian Chiles on a lower salary than her current contract.
Bleakley is said to be paid £100,000 a year currently, the Sun newspaper reported.

A source said: 'The BBC
played serious hardball. Their view was that nobody is worth holding on to at any cost any more.
'They figure there are plenty of stars out there who can replace people.
'Christine is happy doing The One Show and is realistic about the financial pressures the BBC
is facing in the current climate.'
Further BBC
stars facing cuts to their salaries include Jonathan Ross who will reportedly see his salary reduced by three per cent.

And if he signs another three-year contract they will cut the £18million he is getting from his current deal by a quarter.
Others include Jeremy Paxman (annual salary going down from £1million to £750,000), Graham Norton (down from £2.5 million to £1.87 million) and Terry Wogan (down from £800,000 to £600,000.)
News of the pay cut will be a fresh blow to Miss Bleakley, who recently split up with her long-term boyfriend Mark Beirne.
