Some weeks ago Lord Digby Jones a former member of the cabinet presented a Dispatches program for Channel 4 on the Recession and Jobcentre Plus. Finding it not fit for purpose. The concern was with the general population and middle class professionals accessing the Jobcentre and finding it inadequate in providing a service to them. Those of us who engage with Jobcentre Plus as disabled people whether to find work or deal with benefit claims of course know how inadequate this has been for some time.

I found an article in the Daily Mail online which covers this program as you may have to pay to re-watch it online.
