Could you please supply the following under the Freedom of Information Act:-
The number of cases of ESA medical cases carried out by ATOS, which have gone to appeal with the Tribunal Service.
The number of successful cases by the claimant years 2008 - 2010 and the number of unsuccessful claims 2008 -2010
What action does DWP take with ATOS when the number of successful appeals are rising.
In many cases DWP has stated that the decision maker is independent, and will consider medical opinion, however I have seen that you seem to make a distinction between an ATOS doctor and a GP in terms of one carrying out an assessment the other to diagnose and treat. The GP would know what his patient could or could not do, so why are requests from GPs ignored.
What are the guidelines when a GP asks ATOS for a home visit for their patient as they know what his condition is.
On what grounds can this request be turned down by ATOS, and what information do they have to give.
Is there a liaison officer for DWP who will deal with complaints regarding ATOS medical services examinations.
Finally
What right do ATOS health care have to overturn a Tribunal decision only a few weeks after the decision was made at another medical check, where the doctor again removes ESA despite a recent tribunal hearing.

having been through the atos (for the want of better words) medical test , i found not only did the tester not write my notes correct and left large areas unfilled , she also couldnt tell the time as her time she puts forward that the test took exceeds the time stated the interveiw lasted .....a compleat joke. there latest cock up is to send me a letter telling me i no longer live at my address and the adjorned appeal will be thrown out , on enquirery to the tribunaral they couldnt tell me where there new information came from . someone somewhere should get sued . incompetance is where the money drain realy is . i to would like the information kevin above has requested . .....but it would proberly get lost in the post .
