- Your child maintenance payments will not affect a claim for Housing Benefit
- Your tax credit awards won’t be affected by your child maintenance
- As the statutory maintenance service will pay all of the money received in child maintenance payments directly to you it will be your responsibility to inform the Social Security Agency of any child maintenance payments received, as with other forms of income

Family Fund extra is a new online buying club from disabled children's charity the Family Fund. Any family with a disabled child can sign up to extra for free and then save between 5% and 25% on all goods and services from leading retailers.
Following launches at the House of Commons, Scottish Parliament and Welsh Assembly Government, Family Fund extra was launched to the Northern Ireland Assembly at a reception on Thursday hosted a representative from the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.
