Due to forthcoming changes to the retirement age, equalisation for men & women and possible increase in the pensionable age generally. From the 6th April 2010 two Statutory Instruments make changes by referring to the age at which a person is deemed to be pensionable as "Pensionable Age" rather than the age in years.

The Travel Concessions (Eligibility)(England) Order 2010 Statutory Instrument no. 459. This being Travel Passes on Public Transport.

The Social Security (Work-focused Interviews etc.) (Equalisation of State Pension Age) Amendment Regulations 2010. Statutory Instrument no. 563.
